Gun Consignment
At Two Alpha Auctions, our goal is to get you the highest value for your gun(s). Let us put our collective 30-year history of auctioning firearms to work for you. We invite you to learn how to sell your guns through us.
Consignment is where the owner of an item pays the seller a small fee to locate a buyer. We handle all of the details, from advertising, securely packing and shipping to the buyer. After the sale is complete, the owner (“consignor”) is sent a check for the net proceeds.
We auction handguns, long guns, shotguns, muzzleloaders, and rifles. We do auction items that are regulated by the National Firearms Act, like suppressors and full automatic firearms. Our live auctions also feature auctioning of sportsman-related items like ammunition, gun safes, holsters, scopes, reloading equipment, swords, knives, and bows.

Transportation
Once you decide that auctioning your firearms with Two Alpha is right for you, we work with you to either pick up your firearms or you can bring them to us.

Getting You Paid
We offer competitive consignor commission rates. There are no other hidden fees. As part of our commitment to providing excellent and efficient customer service, we mail your proceeds check 15 days after the auction.

Transportation
While we prefer that consignors bring their firearms to us, we can arrange to pick-up if you have a large collection or have mobility issues.
Photography
We take upwards of a dozen pictures or more of most firearms so prospective bidders can see exactly what they are bidding on: The good, the bad, and the ugly! We welcome bidders to contact us if they need additional photographs or information.
Reserve
As a general rule, we do not recommend that sellers place reserves on their firearms and there are many reasons why. However, let’s talk about it! If it’s right for you and/or a particular firearm and it doesn’t sell, we charge 15% of the highest bid.
Marketing
Marketing for specialized auctions like firearms requires a marketing plan using a wide range of advertising outlets. Sure, running ads in local papers is a part of that plan. But there’s so much more. At Two Alpha Auctions, we advertise in trade magazines, by direct mail to our vast mailing list of firearm enthusiasts, email blasts, word-of-mouth, on our website, on our bidding platform, and client phone calls.
Safe & Sound
Last, but certainly not least, your firearms are secured safely with us! Our building is alarmed and monitored 24/7 and we are fully insured against anything that might happen.
